User conduct
- Library users must leave their bags in a designated place.
- Users are responsible for their personal belongings. The office will not be responsible for any loss or damage to personal property.
- Silence must be observed in the library and adjacent areas. Users are reminded to switch off all devices such as alarm watches, pagers and mobile phones while using the library.
- Smoking, eating and drinking are strictly prohibited in the Library.
- Games of any form, and use of a Walkman, a Discman and photographic equipment are not allowed in the Library without the permission of ACCA Hong Kong staff.
- Library users may not wear clothing that is likely to soil Library property. All umbrellas and raincoats must be placed in a designated area near Reception, and not inside the Library. Library materials and resources must be kept clean and in good order.
- In order to maintain the tidiness of the Library, library users should have responsibility to put back the unused materials onto the original shelves.
- Some materials are for browsing only; photocopying facilities will not be available at ACCA Hong Kong office.
- For all the borrowing materials, users must observe copyright law. ACCA shall not be held responsible for any infringement of intellectual property rights that might arise from a user copying any material or data.
- Library users must not retain seats in their absence, ACCA reserves the right to remove any item(s) used for such purpose and shall not be held responsible for any loss or damage resulting from such an act.
- ACCA reserves the right to inspect any book or any other items in the possession of the library users when they leave the Library.
- Library services will be withdrawn from any library user who fails to comply with Library Regulations.
ACCA reserves the right to apply additional special rules to the use of the library and borrowing as appropriate for the proper management of the library facilities and services.
