Borrowing regulations
No reservation of library material is allowed.
Loan period of library material(s) can only be extended once with a period of 7 days.
Loan period can be extended either in person, via email to students@hk.accaglobal.com or by fax to 2868 4909 three days before the due date. A confirmation will be sent to you upon receipt of your request confirming the extended loan period. No extension is guaranteed if you do not receive our confirmation.

If you do not receive the confirmation before the initial due date, please contact ACCA HK office at 2524 4988 for assistance.
When a library material is returned, the same borrower may borrow it for another period of 14 days on the third working day after the previous day of return.
Reference materials, periodicals i.e. journals and newsletters are displayed for reference and not to be removed from the Library.
ACCA reserves the right to suspend library services to any library users who fails to comply with library regulations.

Borrowers are responsible for returning loan items on or before the due date.
Delayed returns will be subject to an overdue fine of: HKD 15.00 per day (Mon-Sun) after the due date of return or equivalent cost of the material whichever is lower. |

Borrowing Procedures:
Borrows should complete a library Materials Borrowing Form in order to borrow library materials. Borrowers cannot authorize other person to pick up library materials.
Return Procedures:
Borrowers must return all loan items during regular library hours. Library privileges will be withheld until borrowers settle overdue fines in full.
Loss and Damage:
- Any mutilation, damage or loss of library materials must be reported to ACCA Hong Kong staff immediately.
- Borrowers will be responsible for loss or damage to any items on loan.
- Borrowers may be required to pay for the lost/damaged item in full. Lost or damaged materials will remain the property of ACCA even if a replacement charge has been paid.
- If the loss is reported after the due date of return, the borrower will also be charged the late return penalty for the period from the due date to the reporting date.
Unreturned Library Materials:
The borrower's name will be recorded in the Library's register; a reminder will be sent to the user with the warning that his/her borrowing privilege will be suspended if the books are not returned or the outstanding late return penalty is not settled.
