Recognition of the ACCA Qualification
ACCA has had a long and successful history in Hong Kong since the setting up of its branch in January 1950. ACCA jointly worked with HKSA in the Joint Examination Scheme (JES) in training qualified accountants in Hong Kong for the past 20 years since 1982. In employers' eyes, ACCA is regarded as a prestigious, high standard and relevant international qualification in accounting and business. This recognition will certainly provide you with the opportunity to fulfill your career goals and aspirations regardless of your background.
ACCA is also the most popular international accounting qualification in the Mainland China. ACCA is known as a 'global passport' to international accounting and finance. Currently, we are actively working with CICPA to explore mutual exemptions between the two qualifications. ACCA has now nearly 43,000 members and students in Hong Kong and the Mainland.

Ashton Dallsingh, Director of Finance
"The ACCA professional qualification uniquely combines technical ability with a 'big picture' view of accountancy. This approach enables individuals to develop careers in strategic management as well as the option to move into technical areas such as audit and risk management. Either way, ACCA members are equipped to provide leadership and add value to any organisation."
