Prof Chan Koon Hung

Prof Chan is currently Academic Dean of Business Studies and previously Head of the Department of Accounting and Finance at Lingnan University. Prof Chan obtained his bachelor degree from the Chinese University of Hong Kong, master degree from the University of Illinois and PhD degree from the Pennsylvania State University. He is also a FCPA, CPA(USA) and CMA(USA). Before returning to Hong Kong, Prof Chan was a professor of accounting at the University of California and the University of Toronto.

Estella is the chief financial officer and qualified accountant of the Country Garden Holdings Company Ltd with effect form January 2008. From September 2005 to November 2007, she was an Executive Director of Hang Lung Properties Limited, a company listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. Prior to joining Hang Lung Properties in 2003, she was employed by the Hong Kong Stock Exchange in a number of senior positions, most recently as Senior Vice President of the Listing Division. Prior to that she gained valuable auditing experience with Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu. Estella is a qualified accountant and holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. She is an Associate of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales, the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators and a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, United Kingdom, the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. She has also contributed her time to various public service appointments including being a co-opted member of the Audit Committee of the Hospital Authority, and Corporate Advisor to the Business School of Hong Kong University of Science and Technology.

Richard’s listing and audit experience has given him an in depth knowledge of Hong Kong and PRC corporate structure, accounting principles in Hong Kong and PRC, and advising on acquisition strategy. Through his commitment to assisting clients with listings, Richard has developed good contacts with Stock Exchange officials, merchants bankers and legal advisors. Richard’s major clients include Tianjin Development Holdings, Beijing Capital Land (H share), Guangzhou R&F Properties (H share), Agile Property Holdings, Nine Dragons Paper, Beijing North Star (H share), Jingwei Textile Machinery (H share), Hsin Chong Construction, Sime Darby China and New World Services Holdings.

Andrew Tsui

Andrew is a senior client partner in Korn/Ferry International’s Hong Kong office, from where he serves clients operating in the Pearl River Delta region of southern China. In addition, he heads the Firm’s Board services practice for non-Japan Asia and the academic, education and not-for-profit specialist teams and is also active in the local corporate, financial and government sectors in Hong Kong.
Prior to joining Korn/Ferry in 1996, Andrew spent 10 years with another international executive search firm, where he held the position of Head of Asia Pacific Financial Services. Prior to that, Andrew worked in the financial services sector as Vice President for Irving Trust Company and for Sun Hung Kai Securities Group. Earlier in his career, he was with Price Waterhouse.
Andrew holds a Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences from the University of Hong Kong and is a Canadian Chartered Accountant.

Philip is an Audit Partner with Deloitte, responsible for planning and managing audits for Hong Kong based operations of multinational groups, as well as locally and overseas listed clients in a wide range of industries.
Philip is actively involved in the development of the CPA profession and he also contributes his efforts in various social services. He is a member of Council of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants, a member of the Advisory Committee of the Accounting and Finance Department of the Hong Kong Polytechnics University, and the Advisory Committee Chairman of the Department of Accountancy of the City University of Hong Kong. He is a member of the Hospital Government Committee of the Hong Kong Red Cross Blood Transfusion Services, the Chairman of the Governing Sub-Committee of the Hong Kong Bone Marrow Donor Registry and a member of the Finance Committee of the Hong Kong Red Cross.
Philip is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants and the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Through successive positions in banking and finance industries over eighteen years, Joseph has consolidated his expertise and experience in strategic planning and implementation of financial, electronic banking, Internet and wireless services and systems in Asia.
Prior to AsiaPay, Joseph took various management positions at Barings, Citibank N.A., Bank of America and Dah Sing Bank.

Peter involves in consulting services in Secure eBusiness, System Processing Consulting & Assessment and Corporate Governance. He manages various Sarbanes-Oxley attestation and consulting projects, as well as different internal audit engagements for major US-SEC registrants. He also serves the firm’s various industry groups, including the Global Financial Services Industry (GFSI) Group as well as the Technology, Media and Telecommunications (TMT) Group.
Peter is certified to implement WebTrust Assurance Services and is the founder of Certification Authority/Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) initiative for Hong Kong office. He plays a key role in the WebTrust and Certification Authority for CARO compliance standard setting committee for the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
Having served the firm in numerous countries, he was also recognized as the Practice Leader of the Internet Security Consulting Services in the West Coast of both Canada and United States of America. Prior to joining the firm, he worked in different internal audit departments within the federal government of Canada, with specialization in System Process Consulting and Business Process reengineering as well as Risk Management.
Dr Samson Tam

Dr Tam graduated from the Chinese University of Hong Kong in 1986 with a Bachelor degree of Science (Hons), and later was awarded the degree of Doctor of Philosophy from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. He is currently Chairman of Group Sense (International) Limited (“GSL”). In 1997, GSL won the first “Hong Kong Award for Industry: Technological Achievement” awarded by the HKSAR Government.
In 1992, Dr. Tam was awarded the “Young Industrialist Award of Hong Kong” in recognition of his business achievement and contribution to the local industrial sector. He was also named one of the “Ten Outstanding Young Persons” in 1997.
Presently, Dr. Tam is the Deputy Chairman of the Hong Kong Productivity Council, a member of Election Committee Member (Information Technology Subsector), a member of General Committee of Federation of Hong Kong Industries as well as Vice Chairman of its PRD Council. He is also a member of the Advisory Committee on the Promotion of Hong Kong’s Innovation and Technology of the Hong Kong Trade Development Council, Digital 21 Strategy Advisory Committee, the Small and Medium Enterprises Committee and a trustee of United College of The Chinese University of Hong Kong.
Morison Chan, FCCA

Morison is currently chief financial officer of Minmetals Resources Limited, responsible for the overall financial management and investors relation functions. He graduated from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Accountancy and obtained a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the City University of Hong Kong. Morison is a fellow member of each of the ACCA, the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators and the Hong Kong Institute of Chartered Secretaries. He is also a CFA charterholder of the Chartered Financial Analyst Institute. Prior to joining Minmetals Resources Limited, Morison held various senior finance positions with the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited and other Hong Kong and overseas listed companies. Morison has extensive experience in corporate finance, auditing and financial management.
Prof Simon Ho

Prof Simon Ho joined Hong Kong Baptist University in January 2004 as its Dean of Business and Director of Centre for Corporate Governance and Financial Policy. Before that he served as Director of the School of Accountancy at The Chinese University of Hong Kong from 1995-2002.
He is currently a Member of the Chinese Political Consultative Committee (Henan Province), Investor Education Advisory Committee (IEAC) of the Securities and Futures Commission, the HKSAR Board of Review (Inland Revenue), Hong Kong Securities and Futures Appeals Tribunal, Deposit Protection Appeals Tribunal, HKSAR Advisory Committee on Human Resources Development in the Financial Services Sector, Advisory Group on Directors and Officers Related Provisions (AG3), Vice-President of the International Association for Accounting Education & Research (IAAER), and Vice-President of Hong Kong Professionals and Senior Executive Association. He was the Founding President of the Hong Kong Academic Accounting Association.
As an internationally recognized expert on corporate governance, he founded the Asia-Pacific Corporate Governance Conference and the world’s first Master programme in Corporate Governance & Directorship in 2004. Under the sponsorship of the World Bank, he develops and teaches “International Corporate Governance” at the Research Institute of the Ministry of Finance, PRC.
He published many academic articles and books and is a columnist on corporate governance in the Hog Kong Economic Journal. His co-authored books “Corporate Governance in China: A Critical Analysis” and “Corporate Governance: An Analysis of Listed Company Problems” were published in late 2006 and early 2008 respectively. His recent works on corporate governance and family business have received wide attention and several awards.
Dr Gregg Li

Dr Li has worked in the Pacific Rim for over 25 years, and has been helping corporations and governments prepare and avoid risks at the highest strategic level - at the board of directors and policymaking levels. At Aon which is currently the World’s largest risk consultant, his role is to help Aon’s clients design, set up, and improve their governance structures so as to add value and minimize risks.
Dr Li started his career in Washington, D.C., as an industrial and information engineer at the US Department of Defense, and since then has worked at Citibank, Coopers & Lybrand, American Express, the East West Center in Honolulu, and the University of Hong Kong as one of the thought leaders in their management think tank. Dr Li is also a Visiting Professor at Tsinghua University and a member of the HKSAR Central Policy Unit, the Vice Chairman of the Business and Professional Federation; a past Chairman of the International Institute of Management Consulting Institutes for Asia; and the Global Corporate Governance Advisor of Monte Jade, a venture capitalist body.
Raymond Ng

Raymond joined the Community Relations Department of the Independent Commission Against Corruption (ICAC) in 1984. He currently heads both the Hong Kong Ethics Development Centre and the ICAC Regional Office (Hong Kong East) to promulgate professional ethics to the business sector and anti-corruption messages to different strata of the community in Wan Chai and Eastern Districts. In particular, his Centre offers a wide range of free consultancy services on corporate ethics programme which includes business and professional ethics training, formulating or reviewing codes of conduct, advising on system control and so forth. His Centre also launches territory-wide conferences like the first-ever “Ethics - The Core Value of Leadership” 2007 Directors’ Forum jointly organized with 12 partners including related regulators, professional bodies and chambers of commerce last year.
Raymond holds a Bachelor of Social Science degree (First Class Honors) in Government and Public Administration from The Chinese University of Hong Kong and a Master of Public Administration degree from the University of Hong Kong. He was also sent to attend the Professional Development Course at the Tsinghua University in Beijing in 1998 and the Breakthrough Programme for Senior Executive at the IMD in Switzerland in 2006.

Paul is the Past President of ACCA Hong Kong and a former Council Member of ACCA. He currently serves as a member on both the SMP Committee of the International Federation of Accountants (“IFAC”) and the Working Group on Accounting Standards for SMEs of the International Accounting Standards Board (“IASB”).
Paul is a fellow member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants. He holds an MBA degree from the Chinese University of Hong Kong and has also studied at the Harvard Business School and Tsing Hua University. Paul is an Adjunct Associate Professor of The Chinese University of Hong Kong. He has frequently lectured, on a visiting basis, for different universities, chambers of commerce and newspapers. He has also served as speaker at many seminars and conferences in major cities in the Mainland of China and overseas to promote the Hong Kong accounting profession.
On community services, Paul has served on many boards and committees of governmental and public bodies. Currently, he is Chairman of the Legal Aid Services Council, a member of the Strategic Development Commission, the Transport Advisory Committee, and the Beat Drugs Fund. He is Chairman of Friends of Caritas. In July 2006, Mr. Chan was awarded a Medal of Honour by the HKSAR government and in July 2007, he was appointed as Justice of the Peace.

Ricky brings with him rich business and professional accounting experience. Prior to 1997, he has been an auditor for a big-four CPA firm and became a senior executive of a blue chip property conglomerate. During 1998-99, he was appointed as CFO for a listed manufacturing group responsible for its debt restructuring and corporate rescue work.
Since the dot-com boom in 2000, Ricky was the Vice President (Finance) of Alibaba.com in which he was a key management team member building this internet start-up from scratch till mid-2005. When he co-founded am730. He is currently the Executive Director of am730 and successfully navigates this free newspaper venture to profitability within two years of operation despite the highly competitive environment.
Ricky is a fellow member of the ACCA, an associate member of the Hong Kong Institute of Company Secretaries and holds a Master of Science degree in Finance. Since 2006, he was elected as a Committee Member for Hong Kong Audit Bureau of Circulations Limited serving the stakeholders of publishing industry.

She leads the company to fulfill its mission of being a world-class electric utility, providing highly reliable, environmentally friendly and safe electricity supply at reasonable costs to over 5 million people in Hong Kong.
In 2004, Betty was the first Hong Kong person to be named the “Business Woman of the Year” in the internationally acclaimed Veuve Clicquot Award.
Betty is an active member in the community. She has been appointed by the HKSAR Government as a member of the Fight Crime Committee and the Independent Commission on Remuneration for Members of the Executive Council and the Legislature, and Officials under the Political Appointment System of the HKSAR. In December 2006, she was elected to the Election Committee under the accountancy sub-sector. She is a Council Member of The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. She holds various positions with business organizations and sits on a number of advisory committees in universities.
Betty received a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Toronto in Canada. A qualified Canadian Chartered Accountant, she has a strong business, finance and accounting background both by training and by practice, and had held a number of senior management positions in PricewaterhouseCoopers and ExxonMobil in Hong Kong and overseas.

Norman is the Chief Executive Officer of the Company. He is a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants of United Kingdom and also a member of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Accountants. He joined CITIC Pacific Limited (“CITIC Pacific”) in 2001 as the Deputy Managing Director. Norman resigned from the Board of CITIC Pacific on 8 January 2007 and assumed the position of director and Chief Executive Officer of the Company on the same day. He has more than 20 years of extensive experience in all aspects of telecoms industry. Norman was the Deputy Chief Executive of Hong Kong Telecommunications Ltd. and later, Pacific Century CyberWorks Ltd. Norman served many public bodies and advisory committees.
