BULATS English Test (60 candidates)
Date: 19 February 2008 (Tuesday)
Time: 6:00pm - 8:00pm
Venue: Room 307, Level 3, British Council, 3 Supreme Court Road , Admiralty, Hong Kong
The Standard Test contains 2 sections: Listening, and Reading & Language Knowledge. All parts of the test are based on realistic business - related situations. Students can be benefited from having a free test of your English language competency and receiving a result certificate to be added value to your CV.
Group Interview (Semi-final) (24 candidates)
Session 1
Date: 5 March 2008 (Wednesday)
Time: 4:30pm - 6:30pm
Venue: Rayson Huang Theatre, The University of Hong Kong
Session 2
Date: 11 March 2008 (Tuesday)
Time: 2:00pm - 4:00pm
Venue: LT401, City University of Hong Kong
The semi-finalists will be randomly divided into teams and attend a 30-minute session of group interview with HR managers from big companies. The interviews will be opened to public audience. Students can have the opportunity to get face-to-face valuable feedbacks.
Career Planning Workshop
Date: 15 March 2008 (Saturday)
Session 1 (12 candidates)
Time: 9:30am - 12:00nn
Venue: ACCA Hong Kong Office
The finalists will receive a chance to attend the workshop conducted by recruitment consultants on topics including interviewing and CV writing skills.
Session 2 (24 candidates)
Time: 12:30pm - 5:30pm
Venue: AIG Office
The semi-finalists will receive a chance to attend the workshop conducted by training specialists on topics including team-building, presentation and leadership skills.
Final Competition (12 candidates)
Date: 29 March 2008 (Saturday)
Time: 9:00am - 5:00pm
Venue: Conrad Hong Kong Hotel, Pacific Place , 88 Queensway, Hong Kong
The finalists will be randomly divided into groups and are required to discuss and present the best possible solution on a case given to them. The competition will be opened to public audience.
Certificate
Students will receive a Certificate of Appreciation from ACCA when they successfully enter into the next stage of the competition
