BULATS English Test & Aptitude Test (60 candidates)
Date: 6 March 2009 (Friday)
Time: 1:00pm - 5:00pm
Venue: Room 307, Level 3, British Council, 3 Supreme Court Road, Admiralty, Hong Kong
60 participants will be selected from the entries to receive the BULATS English Test and a numerical Aptitude Test.
The BULATS Standard Test contains 2 sections: Listening, and Reading & Language Knowledge. All parts of the test are based on realistic business - related situations. Each participant will receive a result certificate of BULATS to be added value to your CV.
The Aptitude Test is a numerical reasoning test with all multiple-choice questions. The test is designed to assess students' ability in evaluating numerical data.
Semi-final (Group Interview) (24 candidates)
Date: 23 March 2009 (Monday)
Time: 2:00pm - 5:30pm
Venue: Wang Gungwu Lecture Hall, The University of Hong Kong
The 24 semi-finalists will be randomly divided into gruops to attend a 30-minute session of group interview with HR managers from big companies. Students can have the opportunity to get face-to-face valuable feedback.
Career Planning Workshop
Date: 28 March 2009 (Saturday)
Time: 10:00am - 1:00pm
Venue: ACCA Hong Kong Office, Central
The 12 finalists will receive a chance to attend the workshop conducted by recruitment consultants on topics including interviewing and CV writing skills.
Final Competition (12 candidates)
Date: 18 April 2009 (Saturday)
Time: 9:00am - 5:00pm
Venue: Conrad Hong Kong Hotel, Pacific Place , 88 Queensway, Hong Kong
The finalists will be randomly divided into groups and they are required to discuss and present the best possible solution on a case given to them. Public are welcome to attend.
Certificate
Students will receive a Merit Certificate from ACCA when they successfully enter into the next stage of the competition.
